With all the news about climate disasters, it’s easy to miss the good news: Accessing cleaner, renewable energy sources for your home and transportation needs has gotten easier and cheaper.  Villager Bill Palleschi is a homeowner solar advocate and 37-year resident of Fremont.  He and his family have invested in solar panels, battery storage, and electric vehicles. Plus, they’ve adopted many no or low-cost ways for living sustainably.   

Bill will talk about reducing your carbon footprint – including information about The East Bay Community Energy Company and SunShares, two local resources that are making it easier to reduce your carbon footprint.  Bill likes to talk about the broad ranges of activities we can do as investments—in ourselves because they reduce costs right now and for the future of our grandchildren and our community.
