GNV celebrates with the nearly 50 villages (and growing!) across the state that provide over 5,000 older Californians the programming and expertise they need to continue living lives of purpose and promise while remaining in the home they choose..
Villages are communities of care and support committed to the concept of reciprocity, mutuality and generosity. Villagers flourish when each and every member creates social connections with and provides practical support to one another. There are many opportunities to participate in GNV: leadership, administration, helping hands, activities and outreach and publicity.

Every Villager is essential to making our Village a powerful and purposeful space for learning and laughter as we navigate the challenges of aging. Your skills and expertise are currently needed for these activities:

- answering the GNV phone
- dispatching help to members
- joining the Board of Directors
