Celebration at Niles' Favorite

Skillit'zAbout forty Villagers gathered with friends, old and new, to welcome the new year and wrap up the annual holidays. GNV’s Program and Publicity team made special arrangements with the new management at Skillit'z, a long-time Niles' favorite. Genaro Lopez, the new owner graciously agreed to open exclusively for Greater Niles Village from 4-6 pm.

GNV’s informal social kept spirits high with appetizers to start followed by sandwiches and French fries. The surprise? Waffle quarters, covered in a choice of strawberries or chocolate chips with maple syrup on the side.

Conversation filled the air creating a festive atmosphere. Smiling faces expressed everyone’s pleasure at this opportunity to be with friendly neighbors and begin the year 2025. Stay tuned for the next GNV social.

  • Service Operation - Keep GNV current on senior services by participating in monthly Community Ambassadors for Seniors (CAPS) meetings.
