GNV’s Board of Directors attended the National Virtual Village Gathering of the Village to Village Network vtvnetwork.org. The agenda was brimming with presentations and peer-to-peer sharing, exploring best practices for sustainable aging in Villages across the country. Conference speakers emphasized that Villages thrive when each and every member gets involved in organizing Village activities and providing practical support. Get Involved

At the GNV Annual Meeting, 38 Villagers enjoyed a lively presentation by Penny Vittoria, Successful Aging Coach, who confirmed the benefits of volunteering. Attendees received information on ways to Get Involved in the day-to-day operations of GNV. There are many opportunities to participate in leadership, administration, helping hands, activities and outreach and publicity. See her slide deck here
