The City of Fremont invites GNV members to participate in an Age-Friendly City Focus Group. As Villagers, share your unique and valuable insights about Fremont as an Age-Friendly City. Shape your community to be responsive and supportive toward older adults.
The Age-Friendly Focus Group is part of Fremont’s collaboration with the World Health Organization’s Global Network of Age-Friendly Cities. Cities participating in the Age-Friendly Network commit to assessing and improving their age-friendliness in nine
domains

- Health and Wellness
- Outdoor Spaces and Parks
- Volunteering and Civic Engagement
- Transportation
- Social Participation and Inclusion
- Housing
- Dementia Related Support
Facilitated by Karen Grimsich of the City of Fremont’s Aging and Family Services, Human Services Department, the focus group will discuss two domains deeply
